The RUSH (part 1)

01Before being acquired by Gold’s Gym, The Rush Fitness Complex was a chain of clubs that had 23 locations in Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.  It was founded in 2000 by club industry veteran Larry Gurney.

Working out at one of these fitness centers has always been a nice experience – except for it’s strange branding. The gym looked like something straight out of Compton the 80’s. Since it’s first opening this gym has been in immediate need of rebranding. The images below show the original logo and look of the these gyms.02 010

Eventually it was rebranded, but as a Gold’s Gym. So this project was done for fun to see how a rebranding could have looked.00030405 06
